By installing or using the Zondel desktop application (the “Software”) or the zondel.net website (the “Site”), you agree to these terms. Plain English follows.
License
During the public beta, the Software is provided to you free of charge for personal and non-commercial use. We may change pricing, feature gating, or availability at any time and will give reasonable notice for material changes.
Acceptable use
- Don’t reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
- Don’t redistribute the Software’s installer or binaries.
- Don’t use the Software to violate the law or to harm, harass, or impersonate others.
- Don’t attempt to bypass any technical limits or attempt to interfere with the operation of the Software or our services.
No warranty
The Software and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every audio device or every application that uses your microphone.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zondel and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software or the Site.
Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes
We may revise these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Software or the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the Software or the Site if you breach these terms.
Governing law
